Figure In The New Zealand Landscape: On a personal level this essay provided a ‘therapeutic’ escape from the trauma of my experiences in Afghanistan. From an objective viewpoint this essay is a love affair between Human and Landscape, via juxtaposition, revealing the symbiotic, aesthetic, emotional, sexual, contradictory and humorous interplay between the two.
